South-Broadland Presbyterian Church is led by several Ministry Teams. The Ministry Teams at SBPC help us to fulfill the purposes of the Church in the Great Commandment (Matt. 22:37-39) and the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20).

Administration Team
Do you have a talent when it comes to administration, organization, and corporate leadership? The administration team is responsible for policies, procedures, and general administration of the church. This includes security, purchasing, and communications within the church. This team also manages scheduling of events and facilities. This team is active year-round. Team Leader:

Finance Team
The finance team is responsible for the financial well-being of the church. The finance team develops and presents a budget for the church. Once approved, the finance team monitors the budget and reports each month to the session. The finance team is responsible for receiving and accounting for all of the church's funds (general fund, memorial fund, etc.) This team is active year-round.

Building and Grounds Team
Are you a handyperson? Do you like working outside? The building and grounds team maintains the church building and the property that is owned by the church. This includes general maintenance of systems in the church building, and upkeep of the lawn and landscaping. This team is active year-round.

Personnel Team
The personnel team makes recommendations to the church regarding church employees. This includes annual salary and terms of call reviews for employees including the pastor. This team is active year-round.

Nominating Team
The nominating team helps the church determine nominees for the Session. This team meets during the last few months of the year, prior to elections in the fall.

Discipleship Team
The discipleship team is composed of three committees: the Adult Education Committee, Children and Youth Education, and Stewardship Committee. The discipleship teams help South-Broadland fulfill the Great Commission: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18). Adult Education Team The Adult Education Team's charge is to create and maintain an environment where adults will be educated and nurtured in their discipleship to Jesus Christ. This includes Sunday school classes, small groups, bible studies, retreats, evening programs, special events, and many other opportunities for adults to get plugged in. This team is active all year.

Children and Youth Education Team
The Children and Youth Education Team creates and maintains a vibrant environment in which children and youth are educated and nurtured in their discipleship to Jesus Christ. This includes working with children and youth through Sunday School, Kids Under Construction, Vacation Bible School, and the nursery among others. This team is active all year.

Stewardship Team
The Stewardship Team develops and maintains a ministry of stewardship as a spiritual process of discipleship, involving the time, talent, and tithe of the youth and adults of the congregation. This team looks for creative ways to help educate the congregation on God's call to stewardship. This team meets for a few weeks leading up to the Fall Kickoff/Commitment Sunday in the fall.

Evangelism Team
The evangelism team helps South-Broadland fulfill the Great Commission. God's people are called to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ, and South-Broadland strives to fulfill that call. The team works on special events during Christmas and Easter, as well as the Fall celebrations to help our neighbors stay informed of what's going on at South-Broadland.

Fellowship Team
Do you want to help church members and visitors get to know each other? The Fellowship Team provides times for us to meet and learn about our brother and sisters in Christ. These programs include coffee and donuts between services, holiday dinners, and Sunday lunch programs among others.

The Ministry Team is the leadership development and equipping engine of the church. If you have leadership skills, the ministry team is the place for you! This team develops leaders and helps the congregation minister to each other. This team also facilitates ministry opportunities outside South-Broadland.

The worship team helps facilitate worship services every Sunday. This team is responsible for facilitating music and other elements for special worship events. The team also recruits and trains ushers and greeters for Sunday worship.
